To protect the quality of our Tallow Body Butter, shipping is paused during the hottest summer months. Tallow body butter is heat-sensitive and may melt in transit. During this time, it is still available for local pickup or delivery in Los Alamos County.
Our Tallow Body Butter starts with beef tallow sourced from our own family. The tallow comes from my brother’s cattle, raised right here in Los Alamos at North Mesa Stables. For our Los Alamos County customers, it really doesn't get much more locally sourced than that.
We blend the tallow with shea and kokum butters, jojoba oil, and arrowroot powder to create a rich, creamy body butter that melts easily into the skin without leaving behind an overly heavy or greasy feel.
Made without added water, this concentrated formula goes a long way—a small amount is all you need.
Warm Weather Shipping:
Because our body butter is made without added water and contains naturally heat-sensitive butters and oils, it can soften or melt when exposed to high temperatures. We suspend shipping during the summer rather than risk your butter arriving melted. Local pickup remains available year-round.
